Format
League phase of more than a hundred matches, top six advancing to eliminators. The top two take direct routes to the semifinals; positions four through six play in.
Standings
Win points first, score-difference second, raid points third. We publish a raid-efficiency table alongside the official one — same source, different angle.
Recent reporting
Raid-deck reading every night, defender ratings mid-week, playoff-field projection on Sundays. Coaches’ press notes quoted, not paraphrased.
Tournament grammar
The four things to read first
Points system
Win earns seven points, half-actual win (a drawn match resolved by extra time) earns four, draw earns three, half-actual loss earns two and a loss earns zero. Ties are settled by score-difference.
Tie-breakers
If teams finish level on points, score-difference decides. Then raid points; then head-to-head with the highest-margin win getting the edge.
Squad composition
A franchise carries a fixed raid-defence split with named categories — raider, defender, all-rounder, and a young-player quota. Trades happen at named windows and we publish them.
Playoff bracket
Top two go straight to the second qualifier; the bottom of the top six play eliminators. The final is single-leg and the home side is the higher seed.
What our PKL coverage does — and what it doesn’t
We publish a raid-deck read, a defender block rating and a playoff-projection column. We do not take team-sheet speculation as confirmed, and we treat the league’s official points table as the only authoritative one.
